I decided that the hordes out there grossly broke my personal lineup distancing rules. I watched in horror for a few minutes and then left. To sooth my disturbed soul I drove to Tronoën, a beautiful chapel nearby with one of the most fascinating cavalaires of the area. The site was empty and the warm evening sun lighting the moss-covered lively stone sculptures did its best to calm my nerves.
I relaxed and drove back to Penhors to spend the night and be ready for tomorrows new swell. The forecasted swell numbers and the local wind looked promising.
Sunday, September 13th
I got up at dawn again to another cool morning with a light to medium side-offshore wind. The predicted swell had arrived with wave faces of 1.5 to 2 meters. The swell had a period in the low teens and felt the shallow waters off the coast early. The result looked very good at first glance.
