After an hour I realized that my at the moment not so well trained body needed a pause and took a break. I kept it short as the parking had significantly filled up and more people were coming. Many of them speculated on the wind picking significantly up as forecasted and prepared sails 4.5 and smaller. I stuck with my 5.0 and went out again. Not changing to a smaller sail was a good decision as the wind dropped a bit with some incoming clouds and would definitely not had suited a smaller sail. I had fun again but after about another hour it started to get difficult riding waves as there now were too many people out. Windsurfing is definitely not dead in northern Germany and all of these guys seem to have pretty flexible working schedules too (or suddenly became sick).
But I was getting tired anyhow so I finished the session and left the still filling parking at about four thirty. My plan was to have a look at THE surfing spot in the area and maybe paddle out for a quick session.
At about five I reached the parking and walked to The Bridge. There were some waves, pathetic as (almost) always but rideable. But the surfing folks also must have suffered from a sudden sickness or work in tolerant companies because there were quite a few of them out. In fact, it was quite a few too much for this place. The majority of them was too lazy to paddle further away from the jump-off from the bridge and the two and a half peaks on both sides of the pier were pretty well populated.
