A last check of the forecasts for the following days again postponed my decision of when to take the ferry. There was a small but relatively high period swell forecasted for Monday together with easterly winds all day. Another good session was highly likely Monday morning and afterwards I would see if I´d stay the whole day or leave for the evening ferry.

Monday morning turned out to be not as good as forecasted. The swell was still there with smaller but still in sets chest-high waves braking on the reef, but the wind was south-southwest. So, I drove down south again to see how the waves were breaking in the wind-shelter provided by the jetties.

The left was still producing hip-high long-running waves and I went out for another longboard session which was quite nice. Air temperatures now reached the mid-twenties and according to the forecast were supposed to stay like this until Thursday with constant easterly winds while things looked less nice in Norway where it was supposed to get down to 10 degrees and the wind was supposed to turn onshore soon and bringing some rain. I was on the verge of giving up the idea to ship over but decided to delay the decision again until Tuesday.
