I spent a nice afternoon and evening with my friends including crab “fishing” and an adventure trek along the beach and dunes of Fjaltring. Monday morning I left and drove to the Sydmolen. It was windy there with a good 20 to 22 knot northwest and it was VERY crowded. Holiday season is in full force at the moment and it gets a bit too much now.
Despite the extra-large beach here, there was a phase during the day when even here it got too crowded on the sea with mostly kite-surfers but a lot of windsurfers too. Wind and swell direction were a bit too much west for decent wave-sailing but o.k. for jumping.
North Sea wave-sailing bread-and-butter. But it still kept me out at sea for four hours. And it still is full summer. No complaining at all!
