rough northern climate, summers are moderate in temps with max. 25oC, spring and autumn are cold to cool with plenty of rain (and wind), winter is f#*$ing cold. Water temps between 5oc in winter and 16oC in summer. Wetsuits needed year round.

wind:

Predominantly westerly winds with quickly passing depressions bring wave sailing conditions, southwest for pure waveriding, west to northwest for jumping and wave bashing. All these directions come from the left. Northeast comes from the right and brings bump´n jump conditions.
Conditions gan get really challenging. This is not a beginners place.

Best season is from April to June and September to November. Winter sees a lot of wind but is too cold most of the times.

passing depressions bring windswell, sometimes northwesterly groundswells make their way through the noth sea. Waves can get size but usually are not too strong. Strong southwest winds bring the best chance for nice long lefts.
