In the meantime, another guy had paddled out and was lucky to get half an hour of surf-able waves before he gave up exasperated. It was noon already and I finally had to make a decision. So I decided to drive on a little bit for a windsurfing session, hoping this would be the better choice in my weak condition.
And indeed, a strong side-offshore plus a meter of wind-swell greeted me and I went out with the 4.5 sail and managed to score a couple of good rides. Just the side-off was gusty and windsurfing once again proved to be one of the most strenuous sports one can do. Handling the gusty winds and riding the waves pushed my pulse into unhealthy heights and I had to keep the fun session short.
But back on the beach rigging down the gear I felt that my energy level had quite a bit improved due to the push of my circulation. Was there more to savour out of this day? I decided to drive to the spot where presumably everybody was out but not before having a last check of the place I visited during the morning. You never know.
