This is one of the places I keep returning to because the view from up here is just magic. I once again loved it. I now had the option to do another circle around the northern part of the island (I had done this years before during a very nice trip to the island, check this older story for details), but it had become cloudy and significantly cooler and I was ready to get back to my cosy van.
So, I rolled down back into town and took the next ferry to Palau. Then I headed back to Porto Pollo again to spend the night. The upcoming day was supposed to have nice weather again, but this time with a breeze that might be strong enough to do some windsurfing.
Saturday morning it was sunny but still calm. Very calm. Not a single ripple disturbed the mirror like surface of the sea. I drove to Palau again for breakfast and then back to Porto Pollo. It was still calm. I used the opportunity for some body hygiene with the help of my solar shower bag. Then I waited most of the day for the breeze to arrive. I finally manifestoed late in the afternoon and for about an hour was strong enough for some flat-water windsurfing with the bigger board and sail. It was just ok.
