Back there I checked my batteries again and to my disappointment found out that they had only improved to almost 11 volt. I soon found out that the new fuse that I had inserted in the morning was broken again. I contacted a friend to discuss what to do and followed his advice with a couple of measurements at the electric system but didnīt manage to find a clear indicator about what was wrong. So, I just replaced the fuse, cooked myself some noodles and went to bed around midnight.

Sunday, July 16th.

I woke up to another bright sunny day and one of the first things I did was to check if the batteries had at least been charged by the solar panel. They hadnīt. Another measurement this time at the cable coming from the solar panel revealed that there was nothing coming at all. So, I checked the fuse at the relay of the solar panel and found out that this one was broken too. I used my last spare fuse to replace it and drove to town to see if I could get new spare fuses, but they had none of the size required.
