Yes, this is Spain. I almost forgot. You don´t settle down for dinner before eight o´ clock. And despite being already dark, it was not even seven. But this is Spain, and here there is always “Tapas” to save you. So I went to the bar, ordered a couple of these little gems and a beer and this way managed to reload my energy level. After this I went for a walk to further explore this town (and to kill time before going to sleep). I passed more faceless apartment blocks until I reached a grossly oversized seaside promenade. On the way back I walked along the main shopping road and passed some more bars but was too tired to enter one of them. So I drove back to the beach parking to spend the night.

Just after midnight I woke up from a nagging pain in my leg. Had to do a little walk to get relieve and then went back to sleep. Woke up again at 4. Same thing. The three surf sessions of the day before clearly had overstrained my body. Found a little bit more sleep and finally got up at sunrise. Didn´t feel like surfing but went for a quick check anyhow. Surf was good, my body was not good. Had some breakfast and went for a walk along the cliffs at the western end of the beach.

A narrow and sometimes steep path leads up to the headland, giving a good overview on the bay. Halfway to the headland I passed two goats who behaved a bit like being the local guardians of the beach, throwing suspicious looks at me and all in all showing some very self-confident macho body language.
