I was mostly positioning myself at the outside to catch the bigger set-waves and had fun until the number of human obstacles that I had to navigate around during my rides became too big. The northerly wind had brought down cold air from the snow-capped mountains and with the increasing waiting time in the lineup I started to freeze. In addition, the wind slowly started to turn east, so I went back to shore.
Waves had been a bit mushy like so often here but were good fun with the longboard. It was one off the better sessions I had here. I made myself a coffee in the van and then drove back. The bay of Saint Tropez had some waves too now, but the wind had already turned side-shore here and I wasn´t interested. I nevertheless mind marked a certain reef I was passing for future closer inspection.
