Thorsminde:

Another inlet, this time to the Nissum Fjord. Small fishing town with a little harbour. No other settlements around. Very off beat area. Again it´s some jetties that makes it worth to visit that place. Construction on reenforcement of the jetties is still ongoing (October 2004). But the place has great potential for decent waves and currently the sandbars work good. Could be good for windsurfing. Is pretty good for surfing with the right wind and swell patterns. Might work for kiteboarding. Wind and wave conditions are similar to the ones in Hvide Sande. Get a good wetsuit and a hood and gloves and go there in winter. You might score.

windsurf: winds from the south are the call. Then the jetty should provide classic sideshore waveriding conditions.

surf: like with all the other places at the westcoast a passing low with winds turning east give clean conditions for about one day. Very short but hollow rights at the second jetty on the north side of the inlet. Nice lefts north of that jetty. South of the southern jetty (the long one) the peaks look very nice. Strong currents though and the t-formed beach protection buildings further south present some dangers.
