the place is a wave magnet as it´s west facing coast catches north atlantic swells and waves from local lows. Best time is winter, autumn and spring. Summer is still pretty consistant.

Famara has a reef that produces good lefts and rights. Waves brake over reasonably shallow water.

La Caleta is a classic beachbreak with several sandbars, that offer good conditions for beginner to intermediate surfers. Sometimes strong undercurrents. Favours waves smaller thah 2m (face).
