Further down close to the river mouth I had spotted a peak with nobody else out. Waves were softer there and this deemed me the better option with my reduced back-mobility. So, I paddled out there with my longboard. Waves were breaking kinda funny here, at the outer peak starting as a left, halfway in becoming a right for a short time and at the inside turning left again.

Despite this wicked behaviour it was good fun to ride these waves with the longboard and I had a couple of good cruisy rides until on a more energetic turn I slightly strained the capsule of my right knee.

My body was putting a premature end to this session again. But it was close to getting dark anyhow and so I was just content to have surfed a couple of more waves at all. The sky had been slowly clearing up in the afternoon and at dusk there were even sum sparse sunrays visible in the west. There was a good chance for my last day to become a sunny one.
