Saturday the swell had just dropped enough to make the break south of the Baleal peninsula work properly. The wind cooperated with a light north-northwest. I was out from the very moment the tide started to become favourable and had the lefts mostly for myself for a while. But this relatively solitude didn´t last too long. It was a Saturday and it was sunny and the crowds rose quickly to an amount that wasn´t bearable anymore for my taste.
Sunday was a grey day with a light onshore and a still good-sized swell. I went out at the beach at the north side of the peninsula with my longboard. Aside from surfing myself I just hung out at the beach or in my van or in the only beach bar open this time of the year.
Monday it was cloudy with a light but cold wind from the north. Waves were in the 1.5-meter range and there were only three other surfers out south of the peninsula. I had a very nice session. Afterwards I went for a walk around the peninsula and later had a siesta until the tide started to become right again.
