At least the weather was ok, still fairly warm with quite a bit of sunshine in between and I went for a few hikes and further exploration of the peninsula. The footpath running along the coast makes it fairly easy to have closer looks on areas not easily accessible by car and opens up the odd future option to surf in almost solitude when the other spots get too crowded, provided you are willing to take a little walk.

Aside from my short little hikes I took it easy for the rest of the day, knowing that there would be more atmospheric and therefore wave action the following day.

The forecast for Sunday promised a 3-meter wind swell with at least 6 seconds period and a wind direction meaning side-offshore at my favourite point. My expectations were high. So, this time I managed to get up early around 6:30 and opened the door of the van in the hope of a view on clean and good-sized lines in front of it.
