relatively mild winters with temperatures between 5^o and 12^o C, cool summers with 15^o to 25^o C. Water temps between 8^o and 16^o C.

Rain comes regularely year round but never stays long.

wind:

Main wind direction is west. As depressions pass it usually starts with south to southwesterly winds and a lot of rain. These directions come side to sideonshore from the left side. The wind than normally turns west which is full onshore and only usefull for the kiteboarders. Then the direction turns northwest to north and comes sideshore again.

This circle is most likely to happen in spring and autumn. Wind forces vary between 5 und 7. Winter sees heavy storms. Summer has the odd low passing and light winds with some afternoon thermals.

waves:

the swell window goes from southwest over west to northwest. Winter sees some of the biggest things that You can find in europe. Spring and autumn has waves allmoste every day. Summer is still o.k. with constant small waves and a bigger swell once in a while

all tides work, bottom is sand with some flat rocks

shortboards with enough size for bigger waves in winter, 6´8´´ and bigger

6´4´´ and / or longboard in summer

there is some small holliday houses to rent at the small settlements facing the spots. Alternatively there is more houses to rent, hotels and campgrounds in the near vicinity.
