The area at the coast is mostly flat there, but covered with thousands of rocks, obviously spread around by giants playing marbles. Ok, we know it were the ice-age glaciers who left these stones here but – especially in the late evening light – the scenery has a certain magic touch.
I had a quick visit at the lighthouse from where you have a great view on the southern and western parts of the coast and then walked onto the farm road leading along the west coast. I was a bit in a hurry because I wanted to get to a particular nice part of this track and the sun was already very low. But soon I realized that I had underestimated the distance and wouldn´t make it to my destination in time. The wind was blowing icy cold anyway and I better kept my walk short. Tomorrow was supposed to be another windy day, with a bit less swell but promising some more fun windsurfing.
